Australia could potentially be a key market for Lami Kava – Zed Seselja

Kava products have been affected by concerns in some markets over poor quality and potential health effects.

The main market access concerns relate to strengthening the production and regulatory systems in Fiji and other kava producing countries to ensure the quality of exports and confidence of buyers, consumers and regulatory agencies.

Australia's Minister for International Development and Pacific Zed Seselja while opening the new Lami Kava facility says Australia is a key market for kava in Fiji and the region.
